Northampton KSK Aikido club

When Northampton KSK Aikido was formed the initial intention was to run a club for juniors, but soon the club progressed to training older teenagers and adults.

Our members now range over all ages and skill levels, and we have both male and female members.

The aim of our club is to train in Traditional Aikido in an enjoyable way, whilst ensuring that it remains simple and practical.

The club is a member of the Kai Shin Kai Organisation and is affiliated through the British Aikido Board to the Martial Arts Commission.

Our instructors are Sports Council registered and we aim to keep costs to a minimum to ensure access to as many people as possible.

We have recently purchased a brand new interlocking mat which gives us a superb training surface in excess of 80m2.

Training Costs are currently:

Juniors (at least 10 years old) £2.00 per session
Students (16+) £2.50 per session
Adults £3.00 per session.

You may train FREE on your first night. There is no need to buy a Gi (Judo Suit) to start with, simply wear loose clothing or a track suit.

The club meets each Friday evening at the Abbey Centre, Overslade Close

Practice Times:

Juniors +Adults -7.30pm to 10.00pm.

The club also has an additional night (Tuesday evening) which you are able to train on if you can't make a Friday or you want a second night to train in addition to your Friday session-
